Rivals form queue for AJ

FulhamFulham will face stiff competition from West Ham and Wigan for Everton striker Andy Johnson who are all in the hunt for his services.

Fulham are thought to have made an offer of £10.5million putting them at the head of the queue for the England international but West Ham, Wigan and even Sunderland are all said to be very keen on the player.

Wigan boss Steve Bruce had a £9m bid for Johnson turned down but may move again in an effort to add him to the squad, although there has been constant rumours that he would prefer a move back down south in which case Fulham and West Ham lead the chase.

Johnson was not involved as Everton travelled to Nottingham Forest and fought out a 1-1 draw on Friday night and as soon as boss David Moyes finds a replacement then he will almost certainly be on his way to the highest bidder.
