Fulham striker Bryan Ruiz will miss the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury in the win over Bolton.

The Costa Rica international joined Fulham for a fee in the region of £10million last summer and has managed two goals in 30 appearances for Fulham this season.

Ruiz's debut campaign in the Premier League has been brought to a premature end after he sustained a fracture in the 5th metatarsal in his foot in the win over Bolton on Saturday.

The club have confirmed the blow and Ruiz now faces a 10-week recovery period before he can return to training, meaning he will miss Fulham's five remaining league fixtures.
