Martin Jol has been linked with a move to take Brighton winger Will Buckley to Craven Cottage in this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old, who joined the Seagulls from Rochdale in a £1million switch in summer 2011, has impressed at Championship level with 16 goals in 65 appearances while on the south coast.
However, following Brighton's defeat in the play-off semi-finals at the hands of deadly rivals Crystal Palace, it is being suggested that a number of their players will look for a move up to the Premier League with other clubs.
And Buckley could fit that category which has resulted in speculation that Fulham boss Jol will make a move to sign him ahead of next season.
It's a surprise link because Jol is already well stocked in the winger department as he has Swedish international Alex Kacaniklic, Irish veteran Damien Duff, Ashkan Dejagah and young Turkey international Kerim Frei at his disposal.
Brighton will also be keen to persuade Buckley to stay on board for next season as they look to mount another promotion push.
