Sporting Lisbon have completed the signing of Fulham's Portuguese goalkeeper Ricardo Batista.Batista has signed a three-year deal with Sporting after the two sides agreed a nominal fee.
"It was a great surprise," Batista told Sporting's website.
"There were a number of clubs interested but agreement was reached with Sporting and it was good for me to come here."
The Portuguese keeper spent four years with Fulham but never managed to play in the Premier League, spending the majority of his time on loan at either Wycombe or MK Dons.
