Striker reveals Fulham snub

Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente claims he has turned down the chance to move to Fulham.

The 23-year-old wants to stay with the Basque club for at least one more season but has confirmed the Cottagers made a bid for him.

Llorente told Setanta: "There has been a real offer, but nothing happened. It's from Fulham.

"I'm very happy here, I'm improving. This year is to see if we continue here, but I'm comfortable.

"There's room for me to improve here."
