Fulham teenager Marcello Trotta has completed a one-month loan deal to Watford to gain some first-team experience.

The 19-year-old striker has already enjoyed a successful spell away from Craven Cottage this term when he struck eight goals in as many starts during a temporary stay with League One side Wycombe.

Trotta, who has represented Italy at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels, made his Fulham debut in the FA Cup against Everton in January.

Before his opening appearance for the first-team as a second-half substitute against David Moyes' side, Trotta has been in great form for Fulham's Development Squad, scoring five goals in one game against Bolton in August and then a further four goals against Norwich a month later.

The Italian started his career at Napoli and had a brief spell at Manchester City before joining the Whites in 2009.
