Turkish side Galatasaray are the latest club to be linked with a summer swoop for Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The 32-year-old Bulgarian international only made the move to Craven Cottage from Manchester United last summer, but his 13 Premier League goals this season have alerted other clubs to him.
Big-spending Russian club Zenit St Petersburg were mooted as potential suitors earlier this month before Cottagers boss Martin Jol spoke out to insist that the player was not for sale this summer.
However a fresh report is suggesting that Galatasaray will make a £5million bid to take Berbatov to Turkey, where he would link up with the likes of Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba who joined the club in January.
Despite Jol's determination to keep Berbatov, the former Tottenham man would no doubt be tempted by the lure of playing Champions League football and a lucrative wage deal if he linked up with Fatih Terim's side.
