Tottenham striker Andy Barcham has extended his loan spell at Gillingham for another month.

The 22-year-old has played 11 games and scored two goals for the Gills but his spell at Priestfield has been disrupted of late because of an injury.

However, he has now recovered and will stay on loan at the League Two side for a further month - much to the delight of their manager, Mark Stimson.

Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "It's really pleasing because Andy has been a bundle of energy.

"He a very good team player and it's great he wants to stay for another month so we'll enjoy him."

Barcham is expected to play in Gillingham's FA Cup second round clash against League One side Stockport on Saturday.
