Stephen Gallacher admits he is relishing the chance to play with Tiger Woods in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic 'Champions Challenge'.
The 39-year-old qualifies to play in the 18-hole event as he is the defending champion in the main event at the Emirates Golf Club, with a three-stoke victory over Richard Sterne 12 months ago.
He will be joined by the 19 other previous winners of the Dubai Desert Classic in an event to mark the 25th anniversary of the tournament, while the late great Seve Ballesteros, who won in 1992, will be represented by his son, Javier.
Gallacher will play with Woods and 1995 champion Fred Couples and the Scot insists he cannot wait to get started and will draw on the experience of playing with one of Woods' greatest rivals in the one-off event.
"I'm not going to be intimidated by Tiger," he said. "In fact, I'm looking forward to it and feel excited by the prospect.
"I've played with Phil Mickelson a few times in recent years. That was good fun and I'm sure this will be, too."
It is a stellar line-up for the tournament, with past greats such as Colin Montgomerie and Mark O'Meara joining the likes of Rory McIlroy, Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Henrik Stenson.
