Stricker shocker opens up Barclays

GolfOvernight leader Steve Stricker blew up on the back nine in his third round to leave the Barclays Classic wide open.

Defending champion Stricker had been four shots clear with eight to play on Saturday but then threw the advantage away with four bogeys and a triple bogey at the 12th to slump four shots off the pace, with Kevin Streelman holding a one-shot lead at eight-under-par after a round of 68.

England's Paul Casey has moved back into contention with a third-round 69 at the Ridgewood Country Club to lie just one-shot off the pace, alongside Vijay Singh (66), Mike Weir (67) and Sergio Garcia (69).

Argentina's Angel Cabrera lies two shots further back in a group tied for sixth, which includes the Australian duo of Robert Allenby and Jason Day, as well as the American pair of Kenny Perry and Kevin Sutherland.
