West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed the Baggies are still tracking Hamilton Accies midfielder James McArthur.
Di Matteo tried to sign McArthur during the January transfer window, but his plan to take the 22-year-old initially on loan was rejected by Hamilton.
The English Championship club, who have signed several promising young talents from the SPL in the last two years, are continuing to monitor his progress, according to the Italian.
"We're still watching James and we'll see what develops at the end of the season," said Di Matteo.
