Boss issues Accies warning

Billy Reid insists every Hamilton player will get the chance to prove their worth this season, as he works with his biggest ever squad.

The Accies boss has been pleased with the way his squad have taken to life in the SPL and feels there will be an opportunity for every member to shine.

Reid revealed: "There is more of a challenge so players need to work hard to make themselves first choice. If they're not performing to the best of their abilities, there's a guy behind them who will.

"Everybody who is here will be given an opportunity but it's important that we have numbers, and we're fairly happy with the squad - but they're going to have to earn the right to play at this football club."
