Hamilton defender Mark McLaughlin has targeted one more win this season to ensure Accies stay in the SPL.

McLaughlin believes a victory over struggling Kilmarnock this weekend would be enough for Billy Reid's side to maintain their top-flight status after an impressive campaign.

The 34-year-old wants to end the season on a real high in a bid to finish as high as possible in the table.

He said: "Hopefully another win and that will be us safe. But, to be honest, we want to go and win the last five games.

"We want to win every match, we are not just looking down the table at the likes of Falkirk and seeing how they are getting on.

"We want to win as many games as we can. That's the sort of attitude every one of the boys has and hopefully we can just keep going."

He added: "If we play like we did against Hibs last weekend we are a match for anyone in the league."
