James Wesolowski has admitted he is keen to join Hamilton permanently from Leicester when his loan spell there expires.
The midfielder struggled to force his way into the first-team at the Walkers Stadium so was sent out on loan to the Accies, where he has generally impressed in the SPL.
The 22-year-old still has one year left on his Foxes contract but is keen to be released from that and fancies a move to New Douglas Park on a full-time basis.
"I'm going into the final year of my contract at Leicester and the manager has made it clear I'm not in his plans," the Australian told the Evening Times.
"I don't think Leicester can ask for much money for me and they may even come to some sort of arrangement to allow me to go on a free. I will need to talk with them at the end of the season and see what my situation is.
"I need to look elsewhere for football next season and the option to come back to Hamilton is a really tempting one. I've really enjoyed my season here and I like everything about the club. We've done well, but I've got a feeling it's just the start of things.
"Billy Reid is an excellent manager who has proved he can make a very strong side on a tight budget. With a bit of ambition we could aim even higher next year."
