Billy Reid has insisted he has "no intention" of leaving Hamilton to replace Mixu Paatelainen at Hibernian.
The highly-rated Accies boss has emerged as a frontrunner for the Easter Road vacancy and has openly expressed a desire to manager at a "higher level".
However, Reid insists he is focused on the next phase of his rebuilding plan with Hamilton and is not interested in a shock summer switch.
He told the Hamilton Advertiser: "I'm happy at Accies. However, I'm like everybody else and I want to manage at the highest level I can - but that doesn't change my focus at Hamilton Accies and I have no intention of leaving.
"The relationship I have with the chairman and the board is second to none and that's everything at a football club, and why we're successful.
"I know that Ronnie MacDonald backs me 100 per cent."
