Hamilton manager Billy Reid is confident he has signed a player with plenty of ability after landing Dougie Imrie from Inverness.
The striker signed from Thistle for a five-figure fee on deadline day and Reid was delighted to secure his services after the club initially tried to land him last year.
Imrie, 26, has scored just three goals in 15 appearances during an injury-hit season with Inverness in Division One but Reid believes he will prove to be a good acquisition.
Reid said: "I think he'll do a good job for us and he's the right type."
Meanwhile, three teenagers, Gary Bell, 18, Chris Roxburgh, who is 16 and 17-year-old David Hopkirk have all been handed professional contracts until the end of the season at least and are expected to be involved in senior squads throughout the rest of the campaign.
