Reid ready to welcome Rangers

HamiltonBilly Reid said his Hamilton players will have no problem picking themselves up for the visit of Rangers after their latest defeat.

The top-flight new boys crashed 2-1 at New Douglas Park to St Mirren at the weekend and next up face the prospect of taking on Walter Smith's title-chasers.

Hamilton have now lost four successive matches in the Scottish Premier League, but Reid said: "The players will pick themselves up, I don't have a problem with that at all.

"We spoke at the start of the season about how we are going to take hits and that won't be a problem.

"If we were totally out-classed by St Mirren then we would have problems but I don't feel that was the case and the players don't feel that was the case.

"But we need to learn. It's a learning curve for these young players as well as me. They will become good players but they need to learn too."
