Hamilton boss Billy Reid admits he has to take the blame for the Accies throwing away the lead against Motherwell.

Ten-man Hamilton took the lead with seven minutes to go against their local rivals, but ended up drawing the game 2-2 as Reid's gung-ho approach cost his team in the end.

Reid admits that he did consider bringing on defender David Elebert after Marco Paixao had given his side the lead, but claims his hesitation cost him as Lukas Jutkiewicz equalised.

"I didn't call it and we failed to see out the game. I have to look at my own performance and I should have called it," Reid admitted.
