Set plays the key to Ibrox upset

HamiltonBilly Reid has told his young Accies side that set pieces will be crucial in tonight's Co-operative Insurance Cup clash with Rangers.

It will be the second time in three days that the sides meet after Rangers ran out 3-1 winners in the league at New Douglas Park on Saturday.

"Hopefully, we've recovered okay," said Reid who says he is looking forward to meeting the challenge of Hamilton's first trip to Ibrox in 20 years head on.

"It's another challenge for our young squad and I feel as though we're learning all the time.

"I think against the Old Firm, set pieces are really, really important, especially with the conditions on Saturday.

"It was important that we made use of the elements and I think we did that early doors.

"I was slightly disappointed second half but I think that was mainly due to the blustery conditions."
