Pools pair ready to debut

Hartlepool's new loan signings Jack Barmby and Luke Williams are hoping to make their first appearances for the club against York.

Attacking midfielder Barmby, son of former England international Nick, and striker Williams both arrived on loan this week from Manchester United and Middlesbrough respectively.

Harewood made his debut in last week's defeat at Fleetwood so manager Colin Cooper has plenty to ponder as Pools bid to halt a run of three straight league defeats.

Michael Duckworth remains sidelined following a double hernia operation and fellow defender Jordan Richards is suspended following his dismissal at Fleetwood, so Sam Collins could return to the starting line-up.
