Laszlo deflects cash concerns

HeartsCsaba Laszlo deflected talk of a cash crisis at Hearts after their 2-1 Premier League victory over title-chasers Rangers at Tynecastle.

Goals from Marius Zaliukas and Laryea Kingston saw 10-man Hearts blow the title race wide open, with an own-goal from Christos Karipidis and a red card for Lee Wallace adding to Rangers' problems.

Hearts had admitted before the game that their players had not been paid for the second time this season, but Laszlo did not want to dwell on matters off the pitch.

"I'm not the owner of the club, although I have a very good relationship with the owner of the club," said manager Laszlo when quizzed about the situation.

"The biggest payment for me was the three points from Rangers, that was the biggest bonus for me."
