Laszlo looks for 'modern football'

HeartsCsaba Laszlo says he is delighted his Hearts players are finally adapting to his approach of "modern football".

The Tynecastle club sit third in the SPL after recording their third 1-0 victory in a row at the expense of Inverness on Saturday and Laszlo feels the progress being made is down, in part, to the players sharing the responsibility of scoring goals.

"Everybody except the goalkeeper can score in this team," he said.

He added: "This for me is modern football. It is not important who scores as everybody must be capable of scoring and everybody must go back and defend.

"I don't make a difference between defence and offence. I only make a difference between what happens when you lose the ball in the opponent's half or your own half."
