Hibs manager John Hughes has told his players to forget any ideas of Scottish Cup glory ahead of their toughest month of SPL action.

Hibees beat Montrose 5-1 on Saturday to put them through to the fifth round but now face five matches in just 17 days as they try to hold onto third position in the league.

Hughes praised his side's 'professional' performance in the tie but insists he is not going to get carried away with the cup run and is fully concentrating on consolidating his side's league position.

He told the club website: "It will take care of itself when it comes around but in the meantime we have a really tough programme coming up and we have to make sure we treat each of these games properly."
