Hibs have completed the signing of Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown, who has penned a deal which runs until the summer of 2012.

The 28-year-old, who started his career at Rangers, only made 14 appearances for Celtic and is now looking for more regular action, having spent a recent loan spell at Kilmarnock.

Brown accepts that he will have to battle for a first-team place, saying that there is already "excellent goalkeeping talent" at Easter Road.

Speaking to the club's website, the shot-stopper added: "From the training centre through to the way the team is playing and the way the manager and the club go about their business, it is an exciting place.

"I'm ready and prepared to work as hard as possible to get into the team."
