John Hughes has warned Sol Bamba his priority must lie with Hibs despite the Africans Nations Cup and World Cup on the horizon.

Bamba is expected to be fit for this weekend's SPL clash against Falkirk after being forced to have another painkilling injection.

Boss Hughes is delighted to have him in contention and also hopes he goes on to star in the African Nations Cup in the new year and then in next summer's World Cup but he has reminded him that it's Hibs that pay his wages.

He said: "I want him to go and star in both of these tournaments but he also has to be performing for Hibs."
