John Hughes has told his Hibernian squad they should be targeting third place and will continue to demand more from the players.
Hibs are now up to fourth in the SPL following Saturday's 5-1 drubbing of Hamilton, with Hughes' men now just one point behind third-placed Dundee United.
Earlier in the season the manager has tried to play down suggestions of a top-three finish, but he is adamant that Hibs are good enough to live up to those targets.
Hughes said: "I'll go public and I'll say this: I want third spot and Europe. There's no point in shying away from it. I want it and I said that to the players.
"Let's make sure that we're doing everything to try to achieve that. I'm wanting it and that's the demands I'm putting on them."
