Brookhouse relishing Carlisle outing

Last Updated: Tue, 29 Oct 2013 13:50

Owner Roger Brookhouse says he is looking forward to seeing The Liquidator in action at Carlisle on Wednesday.

The five-year-old is getting set for his hurdles debut after impressing at the Punchestown Festival in April and in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper at Cheltenham.

Trainer David Pipe has given The Liquidator a low-profile race at Carlisle to get used to hurdles and Brookhouse is looking forward to seeing his runner in action.

He said: "I'm looking forward to it very much. I've not seen him school at home but I've spoken to David a time or two and he says it's gone well.

"He's done very well so far and he's a nice horse. David usually likes to start off low key. It looks a good place to start and we'll see how he gets on."
