Trainer Kevin Prendergast is considering running Haatef at Glorious Goodwood at the start of next month.
Haatef had been well fancied by many for the 2000 Guineas but struggled to get involved in the one-mile contest, which was won by Cockney Rebel.
The Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum-owned colt did bounce back to boost his confidence with a win against lesser lights last time out and Prendergast is considering stepping him back up in class at Goodwood.
Prendergast said: "He's fine at the moment and will hopefully run somewhere soon.
"He has a few options and we might think about going for a seven-furlong Group Two race at Goodwood (Betfair Cup) in a couple of weeks."
Prendergast has also revealed that running Haatef over a mile still remains an option in the future.
"I think he will go a mile OK really. I don't think it'll bother him so we'll just have to see where we go," he said.
