Zambezi Sun is expected to live up to expectations when he returns to action in the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp.

The Pascal Bary-trained three-year-old won his first two starts at the course back in April and although he finished fourth in the Prix du Jockey Club last month, connections say that will have no impact on Saturday's race.

Lord Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Prince Khalid Abdullah, said: "Zambezi Sun came out of the Prix du Jockey Club in very good form and he has worked nicely since.

"This has always been his target following his last race and we hope he can follow in the footsteps of his sire's other son. It was a very good run last time as he got killed by the draw and the winner is a very good horse."
