New boys out of Terriers cup clash

Last Updated: Fri, 24 Jan 2014 09:28

Huddersfield strikers Nahki Wells and Joe Lolley are both ineligible for the home FA Cup tie against Charlton.

Wells, who has scored two goals in his first two games for the club, appeared for Bradford in the first round, while Lolley struck the winner for previous club Kidderminster in their third-round replay win against Peterborough.

Fellow forward Martin Paterson (thigh) and defender Joel Lynch (groin/hip) remain doubtful, but leading goalscorer James Vaughan could return to the starting line-up. He stepped off the bench at QPR last week following a five-game lay-off due to an ankle injury.

Club skipper Peter Clarke, sidelined since early November, is back in training following knee surgery.
