Huddersfield manager Mark Robins is satisfied the club has everything in place off the field to take them to the next level.
Robins, installed as Simon Grayson's permanent replacement two weeks ago, secured his first win in charge of the Terriers in Tuesday night's 1-0 victory at Burnley.
The former Rotherham, Barnsley and Coventry boss was targeted by Huddersfield to initially help them consolidate in the npower Championship following last season's penalty shootout win in the League One play-off final, before challenging for another promotion.
"There is potential for anyone in the Championship to go higher if you do things in the right way," Robins said.
"There is no quick fix. Even when you throw money at things, you need a plan.
"This club has set out a coherent plan throughout the club, from grass roots through to the first team, that fits my way of thinking and we have to stick to that and make it work.
"There is a clear pathway here that the club has developed and there is longevity to it. It's tough to develop players because you have to do it while getting results, but we'll enjoy having a go."
The Terriers, six points clear of the bottom three after clinching their first league win in five matches at Burnley, chase back-to-back away victories at Brighton on Saturday.
