Hull boss Steve Bruce is lining up a move for Osasuna's defensive midfielder Raoul Cedric Loe, who is set to quit the Spanish outfit.
Bruce has admitted he needs to bring in at least six new players this summer as the Tigers prepare not only for life in the Premier League, but the Europa League as well, and bodies are needed to bolster his squad.
The 25-year-old has said he will leave Osasuna this summer after they were relegated from La Liga at the end of the season and a number of clubs in England, including the Tigers, are keen to do a deal.
Wigan, Fulham and Cardiff have all been linked with the Cameroon international, but the fact that Hull can offer him Premier League and European football will win the day.
Loe has just 12 months remaining on his current contract so the Tigers will be able to pick him up for a fee in the region of £1.6million, should Bruce pursue a deal.
