Burnley boss Owen Coyle may rekindle his interest in Hull striker Daniel Cousin when the transfer window opens in January.
The former Rangers man looks almost certain to move on from Hull this New Year as he finds first team football almost impossible to come by at Hull.
Coyle tried to take the former Rangers man to Turf Moor in the summer but the deal was scuppered by a third party interest according to the player's agent Willie McKay. The Clarets are not the only side being linked with the player as Cardiff are also thought to be ready to make a move.
McKay told Sky Sports: "Burnley were keen on signing Daniel in August, but unfortunately the involvement of third parties in the deal saw the move fall through.
"Unfortunately Daniel is not figuring for Hull at the minute and like every player he just wants to be playing.
"Daniel is a good professional and he is working hard in training, but it appears he is being frozen out of things."I have some options for Daniel if Hull decide they do not want to keep him.
"One of those options could be for Hull to pay up the remainder of his contract and let him leave.
"If Daniel does leave he would like to stay in the UK as he enjoys the football here."
