Doyle content for now

HullHull City's Nathan Doyle insists he is happy to learn from the Tigers' stars, despite finding himself playing reserve team football.

Doyle was City boss Phil Brown's first signing when he took over as manager at the KC Stadium and broke into the first team as the Tigers enjoyed promotion from the Championship.

The 21-year-old has found his chances limited this season and is yet to figure in a single Premier League match for Brown's high-flying Tigers side.

However, Doyle in unconcerned by this and says playing alongside some of Hull's new stars is aiding his development.

He said: "Obviously towards the end of last season I was part of the first team and it was a great feeling,

"Finding myself back in the reserves hasn't been that bad because the players brought in are quality players so you don't mind being second or playing in the reserves behind people who have already played in the Premier League for many years.

"You have got to get your head down.

"They bring their experience and the new players, along with the likes of Nick Barmby, are helping the young lads out and helping myself out, and it is good to learn from them."
