Duffen ready to spend again

HullHull chairman Paul Duffen has indicated he will be ready to spend again in the January transfer market if the club need to.

The Tigers have added 11 new players to their squad since the end of last season and whilst the chairman is delighted with the acquisitions and their cost he has not ruled out going back into the market in the New Year.

Duffen says he will have extra experience in the Premiership by the time the market re-opens and he should have an idea by then whether or not there is a relegation scrap ahead for the side.

He told the Mail: "When the market reopens we have to remember it will be a very different picture.

"In January we will need to identify our priorities and they may be different to those we have now. We have to make the right decision at the right time."
