Grayson plays down Windass move

HullBlackpool boss Simon Grayson has played down talk of a move for Hull striker Dean Windass, describing the link as 'speculation'.

The 39-year-old has expressed his frustration at a lack of Premier League action for the Tigers, featuring just twice for Phil Brown's side so far this season.

As a result, the veteran striker has been linked with a loan move away from the KC Stadium with Blackpool reportedly among the clubs keen to land him.

However, Grayson has insisted he is happy with his current squad and played down talk of a move.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "That's an interesting one, but at this moment I'm not looking to sign anyone. We've got some good players and Windass is speculation, that's all it is."
