West Ham have joined the race for Marc-Antoine Fortune and are looking to pip Hull City to the striker's signature.

Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is keen to improve his strike force at the club and sees the AS Nancy striker, who spent the end of last season on loan at West Brom, as the man to do it.

The 27-year-old is valued at around the £3million mark and both Hull and Celtic are thought to have had agreed offers with the French side, but Zola is now ready to step in and make his own move.

Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also said to be keeping a close eye on the former Utrecht player.
