Hull winger Stephen Hunt is playing through the pain barrier in order to keep the Tigers in the Premiership.
The Republic of Ireland international has been struggling with a foot injury that kept him out of the defeat to Everton at the weekend and the worry is that it will need and operation.
Hull boss Phil Brown believes that with the right management Hunt will be able to put off any operation and soldier on for the club and he expects him to return against Arsenal at the weekend.
"Stephen Hunt's damage to his foot is one where it needs rest," said Brown.
"It's an ongoing concern but we'll have to deal with it the best we can."
