Hull will be without midfielder Robert Koren against former manager Nigel Pearson's Leicester.
Koren was withdrawn at half-time in the midweek home defeat to Southampton due to a hamstring strain and will play no part at the King Power Stadium.
Manager Nick Barmby could switch winger Robbie Brady into a central role and bring in either Aaron Mclean or Cameron Stewart, who both started on the bench in midweek.
Fellow midfielder Corry Evans suffered no reaction from the hamstring niggle that kept him out of the starting line-up on Tuesday night after replacing Paul McKenna midway through the second half and he is back in contention.
Barmby has no new injury or suspension worries as his play-off chasers look to bounce back to winning ways after losing for the first time in 11 matches against the Saints.
