Hull will be without Jimmy Bullard for the clash with Chelsea and Amr Zaki will have to be content with a place on the bench again.

Bullard is still a month away from a return to the side after damaging his knee before Christmas and is making slow but steady progress but has no chance of playing tonight.

Craig Fagan and Richard Garcia are pushing for a recall to the starting XI but despite making his debut off the bench on Saturday, Amr Zaki is unlikely to start.

Assistant boss Brian Horton told the Mail: "His touch was good and his fitness is improving all the time.

"He's a fit lad but whether or not he'd be fit enough to manage an hour or 75 minutes, we might still be pushing him a bit."
