Fraizer Campbell's agent and father has confirmed that a deal to bring the Manchester United striker to Hull is "definitely" still on.

The United striker admitted in midweek all the confusion about his future was getting to him but now his agent and father, Keith, has suggested that it is Hull he would like to join.

Tigers boss Phil Brown had a £6m offer for the England Under-21 star accepted by the Premier League champions last month and now the signs are that a deal could be struck.

"I've spoken to two people. I've spoken to Paul Duffen and I've spoken to Phil Brown, and they're the only two people I've spoken to," Campbell's father told The Mail.

"There are no deadlines at all. Fraizer has played a lot of football and we are going to go off and enjoy the holiday, have a discussion while we're away and see where it takes us."

Asked if the deal to Hull was on, he said: "Definitely. It's just purely and simply down to Manchester United, when they sort themselves out then it's fine."
