Norwich chairman Alan Bowkett has laughed off rumours the club were set to sell Wes Hoolahan to Hull on transfer deadline day.
Rumours were rife on Monday in Norfolk that the Canaries were on the verge of selling Hoolahan to Hull for £2.5million in order to repay some of the £23million they reportedly owe in debts.
The Tigers were no doubt lining up a move for Hoolhan to replace Stephen Hunt if he had been sold to Wolves but they managed to fight off that bid and therfore did not need to sign the Norwich star.
Grant Holt and Chris Martin were also linked with moves away from Carrow Road as a host of clubs looked to capitalise on Norwich's current situation.
Bowkett has now rubbished talk of any of the Canaries' star names leaving the club, insisting no one is for sale.
"I am not prepared to talk about it other than that I think we have clearly got three footballers at the front of our team who are very attractive to teams way above our current playing performance level," said Bowkett.
