Tigers target Ayew

Last Updated: Wed, 11 Dec 2013 13:21

Hull have been linked with a January move for Marseille striker Jordan Ayew but face stiff competition from two other English teams.

Hull are currently 12th in the Premier League after a solid start to the season but manager Steve Bruce is eager to bring in at least one striker in January as the Tigers have managed just 13 goals in 15 league games to date.

Bruce hopes a bid in the region of £3.5million will be enough to convince Marseille to cash in on the Ghana international but Hull may face competition for his services.

Stoke and Everton have also been linked with the striker but both clubs are believed to prefer a loan move, while it is thought that Marseille would prefer a permanent deal for the 22-year-old.
