Bolton manager Gary Megson wll not let Hull and West Brom target Abdoulaye Meite leave the Reebok on the cheap.Baggies boss Tony Mowbray and his Tigers counterpart Phil Brown have both targeted experienced defenders and it was thought a deal to bring Meite to the KC stadium was close to completion.
However, Megson, who could play the 27-year-old in upcoming pre-season friendlies against Rochdale and Macclesfield, has reiterated there will be no cut-price deals for the former Marseille man.
"Abdoulaye is a member of our first team squad," Megson told the Manchester Evening News.
"We have not received a serious bid for him and until such time as we do then he won't be going anywhere."
