AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi says he is 'disappointed' with the capture of Amantino Mancini from city rivals Inter.

The cross-city loan switch, completed before Monday's transfer deadline, caused eyebrows to be raised especially for the Italian Prime Minister, who was less than impressed.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani this week described Mancini as an "excellent signing", but Berlusconi has spoken to Galliani to question the latest arrival to the Rossoneri squad.

On a trip to Jerusalem, Berlusconi was quizzed by press about the loan deal and he responded by saying: "I do not understand it."

He added: "It's another playmaker and we need somebody who can finish and win the game. I disagree with the purchase and that's what I told Galliani."
