Franck Ribery has admitted he wants to leave Bayern Munich but only to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a whole host of clubs this summer, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona all thought to be keen to secure the services of the talented Frenchman.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has always insisted that the France international will not be leaving the Bundesliga giants but Ribery's latest comments might change his thoughts, especially with the amount of money Real appear to have at their disposal.
Ribery told L'Equipe that he will only quit his current club if he can move to the Bernabeu, saying: "I have decided: I want to leave. It will be Real or nothing at all."
New Bayern coach Louis van Gaal has made it clear that he is not worried by the latest comments and is planning for a season with Ribery in his ranks.
"We are completely relaxed about the issue," he said. "I have heard the statement from Franck: Either Real or nothing.
"And our clear answer is: nothing. Franck stays."
