Atletico Madrid have made a raid on Valencia to sign midfielder Ever Banega on a season-long loan deal.Banega was in the Argentinian Olympic squad that won gold in Beijing but found his first-team chances limited after Ronald Koeman left Valencia earlier this year.
The 20-year-old, who cost Valencia for around £18million from Boca Juniors, will become Atletico's sixth summer signing and could feature in the club's opening game of the season against promoted Malaga on Sunday.
