Butcher assesses squad options

Seven players have been offered Inverness contracts by Terry Butcher in advance of the club's start to the new season in Division One.

Brian Kerr, Filipe Morais, Roy McBain, David Proctor, Richie Foran, Lionel Djebi-Zadi and Eric Odhiambo have been given the chance by manager Butcher to stay on.

However, Zander Sutherland, Richie Byrne, Pavels Mihadjuks, Garry Wood, Iain Vigurs, Thierry Gathuessi and Andy McNulty have been told they are free to find new clubs.

Ross Tokely, Phil McGuire, Adam Rooney, Andrew Barrowman, Ryan Esson, Grant Munro, Dougie Imrie, Russell Duncan, Richard Hastings and Dale Gillespie are already under contract for next season, while Ian Black and Michael Fraser had already agreed pre-contract moves away to Hearts and Motherwell respectively.
