Poor 20 minutes costly says Brewster

Inverness CTCraig Brewster highlighted a disappointing 20-minute spell at the start of the second half for Inverness' 2-1 defeat at Dundee United.

The Caley Thistle chief witnessed his side respond well to Jon Daly's opener for the Terrors at Tannadice but Roy McBain missed several chanes to get them on level terms.

And, after a poor start to the second half proceedings, Lee Wilkie grabbed a killer second for the hosts to end Inverness' hopes of getting a result.

"You have to score goals when you make the chances," Brewster said. "That is the most we have created all season. The first half could have been 4-4.

"I thought my players were superb, but just for that 20-minute spell, United dominated.

"When it's one, you always have a chance but at 2-0, it's a big task.

"(Adam) Rooney then scored an offside goal and we got the own goal. I just wish there was more time left."
