Patrick Kisnorbo has extended his loan stay at Ipswich until the end of the season.

The Leeds defender arrived at Portman Road on a month-long deal earlier in January but will now remain with the Suffolk club until May as they bid to secure their Championship status.

The 31-year-old Australian, who is out of contract at Elland Road in the summer, has so far made just one appearance in a Town shirt, starting the FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa.

Manager Mick McCarthy told Ipswich's official website: "Patrick wanted to stay with us, we wanted him to stay so obviously we're pleased it's been agreed."
